South West Washington - Vancouver
- Pacific Park. Approximately 20 acres currently (as of 10/05); Parks and Rec is in the process of developing this park but agrees to let dog owners use the park for off-leash play in the meantime. Once developed, the off-leash space will be approximately 8 acres. Some woods; some open fields. Squirrels and bunnies. Fenced. Bring your own water. Pick up after your dog. DOGPAW is a non-profit organization registered in the State of Washington. Mission: To work with dog owners and the community at large to promote awareness and acceptance and to increase the availability for safe off leash areas for dogs in Clark County. Location: NE 18th St & NE 172nd Ave. Directions: You can reach the park via Highway 14; take 164th Ave. exit, drive north for 2.5 miles. (164th Ave. turns into 162nd Ave but you won't notice the change.) Turn right on 18th Street. Turn right again at first corner. Drive about one block, gate to park is on your left, across from a storage facility and rock/landscaping retail yard.
- ROSS Off-Leash Dog Recreation Area. DOGPAW's flagship Park is at the ROSS substation off of I-5 and Hwy 99. This site is approximately 8 acres of open fields with plenty of hilly terrain to run, jump and fetch. Mission: To work with dog owners and the community at large to promote awareness and acceptance and to increase the availability for safe off leash areas for dogs in Clark County. Location: Between NE 15th Ave. and NE 18th Ave. Directions: I-5 exit 3, Hazel Dell, Hwy. 99. Head north on Hwy. 99. Go east on NE Ross St. to NE 18th Ave. Parking at 18th Ave. and C-Tran’s BPA parking lot on 15th Ave. DOGPAW is a non-profit organization registered in the State of Washington.
